“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
(2 Cor 12:9)
When God is at work, it’s good to stay soft like a potter’s clay. The more I let Him do, the better my life gets. The less I express my own will and thoughts, the more He can work and speak through me. God is everlasting and almighty, good at heart, all-knowing and always ahead of time. He is also the most creative power in the universe and He is love. Why would I compete with Him? My ideas could never be better than His, my influence could never be more powerful than His nor could my heart ever be kinder than His. Acknowledging His supremacy I can only long to submit to Him. In order to be one with God, one can only submit to His authority & love. It is good and the finest blessing in the universe to have it run by the one with the best character of all. Being who He is, He has given us free will so that we can decide to love & obey Him or to rebel against Him. Since we have not created this world nor its structure, rebelling against God means to also rebel against His creation and structure and ourselves because He has created this world originally to be in harmony with Him & within. He has made us for union with Him and not for expelling us from His presence. But when humans started to doubt God’s goodness & truth by listening to the voice of a rebellious angel, God didn’t want to change His own character and remained true to His purity and holiness and oneness so He had to let go of those humans who submitted to the devil. This was the start of two different spiritual kingdoms: one with God’s Holy Spirit, and the other one with the evil spirit. God could have brought an end to the rebels straight away, but His love for His creatures gives those time to repent and come back to Him and into His presence and timezone which is eternal and one. He is good and therefor in disharmony with bad which results in anger and sadness about bad, He is love and therefor disqualified for expressing anger as a long-term feeling, He is right and therefor in conflict with those who are wrong, He is righteous and therefor in control of justice. In order to be loving and just at the same time, He chose to punish Himself in form of Jesus Christ to express His wrath about evil and to show mercy & grace to those who accept His free gift of forgiveness and who want to live in harmony with Him. I tried to rule my life on my own terms before I became a Christian, I had a strong will and aimed for worldy achievements to try to become independent - financially as well as law-wise: in my own little bubble I decided myself what is right & what is wrong and I didn’t know about mercy, forgiveness or true love. My heart was in line with my own ideas and I submitted to the devil’s schemes without knowing it. Now I have accepted God’s gift of reunion with Him through Jesus Christ and live under His reign which has been improving my life on all levels. It has been giving me a deep, loving, secure and brilliant partnership with God who longs to father me and be my best companion at the same time, as He intends to towards all of His children - every human He originally created to have a loving relationship with. He wants to be God the loving Father for every human being out there and longs for each human being to love Him like a child loves his daddy (in a loving relationship). Only if we submit to His order we can get fulfilled as this is what we were made for eternally. Have you reached out to Him? Here is a little prayer for you, if you'd like to start a new life under His reign. :)
